Who the hell is Pekka Rinne?

Pekka Rinne?! Is that some sort of noodle? It sounds like it. Actually, it sounds like a badass Finnish name.It's more likely to be pasta than a badass Finn in Nashville, but this is where my assumptions are wrong. I don't like it when my world view is challenged, Rinne. Pekka. Whichever one sounds more ominous.

I don't mind when rookie goalies take the world by storm. I am a little disturbed to find that Mr. Rinne is doing all of this in Nashville. Nashville, I thought, was not allowed to have players that might be interesting. I mean, Thomas Vakoun and Chris Mason and Dan Ellis. Holy generic! Now you come along with your name all interesting, and not girly like "Kari" or "Jodelyn".Really, All I have to hang my hat on anymore is that I know you had to wear this. It's the only chink in his armor!

6'5, super talented goalie Pekka Rinne playing for Nashville, leading them to the playoffs. Just who the hell does he think he is?

Before he wrested the starting job from Ellis, he was so tall that he obstructed views of the ice for some of the fans. I know a couple that had the organization move their season tickets so they could watch the games.
