How much is your life worth if you're a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs? Well, turns out the going rate is $25 CDN (Approx $23.2 USD). A Leafs fan recently sold their loyalty on Ebay and that was the final bidding price. The money went to charity, so I think that we can conclude there may even be quite a bit of inflation in there since folks tend to pay more if they know an auction is for charity.
Funniest line of the whole story? This one:
"It hovered at around 9 cents for a while, before picking up steam near the end."
That's a lot of steam to pick up. Other prices of fans around the NHL:
