The way it looks, the conference finals are all but decided. Yes, I may be kinxing it, but that's sort of what I want. (Come on Nashville, come back on Vancouver!) That said, I am going to list three reasons for every one of the 4 teams remaining (or will be remaining in a few days).
Vancouver
- You think its about time the Cup returned to Canada. Well, with a Canadian team. I think it's been in Canada almost every day since it was first awarded.
- Vancouver has become a little boring since the Olympics were over.
- You really enjoy terrifying, haunting twins that may or may not inhabit my nightmares.
San Jose
- The teal.
- You have a predisposition for players who begged their way out of previous contracts, or otherwise played poorly in order to get a ticket out of town.
- Process of elimination?
Boston
- Boston fans scare the hell out of you.
- You don't think the Boston area has had enough success in the sporting realm over the past decade or so.
- Zdeno Chara is probably the only player in the NHL with a gravitational field.
Tampa Bay
- You find the insistence that Tampa Bay is a legitimate place and actually exists to be charming. I for one remain doubtful as to the existence of Tampa Bay.
- You, like me, are a meteorologist, and weather phenomenon is fun!
- Steven Stamkos found those pictures of you from your trip to Amsterdam.
